It's a party-sized prepared mix which is packed with essence of a Christmas time, rendering it ideal for a festive gathering. The Bikini Cocktail
Makes enough for 10 people
For the Clementine Cordial (produces 750ml)
300ml recently pressed clementine juice
200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g caster sugar
For the Drink (yields 850ml, to serve 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml clementine cordial (from the recipe above)
A few cranberries, as a garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch
Method
Making the Cordial: Place every items into a pan, heat until it reaches a gentle boil, stirring so the sugar melts. After that, turn off the heat allowing it to reach room temperature entirely. Decant into an clean bottle, cap it keeping it chilled, where it will keep for around four weeks.
For the Batch Mix: Mix every liquids into a large bottle, let it rest for one hour, then pass it through best through a fine cloth, so it's completely strained.
When ready to serve: Pour 85ml of the cocktail base into your cocktail shaker containing ice, and stir gently for about 60 seconds until cold. Pour to a frosted cocktail glass or similar, top with a few cranberries adding the final touch by giving it a quick spritz of mandarin oil over the drink.
